Jacqueline M. Horst is an optometrist who provides primary eye care to patients of all ages, specializing in eye glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Horst has experience with advanced contact lens fits including multi-focal contact lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, corneal refractive therapy, and hybrid contact lenses.
Dr. Horst is a native of the Reading area and graduated from Governor Mifflin High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree with cum laude honors from Millersville University in Lancaster, PA. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia through their accelerated baccalaureate O.D. degree program. She is also Nationally Board Certified to diagnose and treat ocular diseases. Dr. Horst is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and she currently serves as treasurer of the Berks County Optometric Society.
Dr. Horst enjoys cooking, tennis, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
